Denny leaves for the National Clay Conference next week. I'm planning to write my paper for Theory and Crit, work on my studio spaces, which always need sorting, stay up late, sleep late...

I have begun a series of meetings with the Forest Service. I hope to collaborate with them for future installations that address some of the environmental problems that are specific to the valley. Should be interesting, but I have a very long way to go to make these a reality!

The disk that I posted a few weeks ago stuck to the mold, so I will have t o destroy it to remove it. Looks like I will have to reformulate the papier mache' recipe as well. I am guessing that the plaster IN the recipe is what is causing it to stick even with a release agent (in this case, petroleum jelly).
