I'm awake, can't sleep..reading blogs and watching "Le Mystere'Picasso". It is a very fun film, a documentary. The director set up a lighted canvas and Picasso works behind it, allowing his process to be filmed.

The works so far have been far less cubist (this happens later in le film) than I am accustomed to seeing. I know that he did far more than Cubism(including pottery!), but what strikes me is how very much his work here looks like Matisse's-with a dash of Chagall. I love Matisse and Chagall, love them!

I wonder if my classes would find this interesting and if I can still find this film? Ebay here I come!
