Before/After

OK, remember the oxalis painting? It has been bugging me for months now. While I was excited with it at first, that faded quickly. In my mind, it had become rather pedestrian. I would look at it and think "I might as well paint deer and trees, mountain landscapes, or (ewwwwe) sunsets." This was not good for my ego this is certain.

So, after looking at it for months, I worked on it again. It may still not be done, but now it really conveys the excitement I experience when I tend my plants, my garden, when I want to just fall into the riot of color and pattern I see there.
