lots o' stuff

I sold a good bit of yarn this week. You know what that means, right? I gotta make more!! I need to make a lot of it actually. While we just took down the last two of the last three shows I was in, there are always more on the horizon--like this one .. and this one... and one after that too!

I hate to be saying this early in the semester, but I wish it were done. This year's freshmen are... really young. Not all of them, mind you, but wow---talk about unprepared! I'm not usually one to complain much about my students, but there it is. 'Nuff said.

We've been rearranging studios now that the clay studio is open. Denny moved my Beater over to the clay studio for the winter. It's just too cold to leave in in the paper studio and I still have to give a class to a group that paid me in advance. I've had a studio space downstairs in our house for several years now. In this regard, I use the word studio loosely as it is more storage of stuff that I sit in the living room and do. It was all upstairs when I painted more and Denny moved it downstairs 'cause "he didn't want me to be away from him for those days in a row." ( I know, I know.... awwwwww.) Word is that I can be a bit driven ;)

So, I'm throwing and boxing and Denny is hauling it upstairs where I have different shelves and a much better organizational system. And.. we can have our living room back--just in time for out company on Thursday. Our friends, Lanita and Penny, will be here on Thursday.

Last time I added a link, I skewed my template here... I haven't the fortitude to dink around with it long to fix it, so... bear with me and I PROMISE I will post more often.
